We Are Hiring: Operations Manager – Inspection
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Operations Manager – Inspection with 8–10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas and Energy sectors. The role involves managing inspection operations, execution planning, budget control, cost optimization, and ensuring compliance with international standards while maintaining high levels of quality and HSE performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee inspection operations across projects, construction, maintenance, and facilities
- Develop and implement execution plans aligned with project schedules and operational objectives
- Control budgets (CAPEX/OPEX) and lead cost-cutting and efficiency improvement initiatives
- Lead and manage QA/QC and inspection teams to ensure effective performance
- Ensure compliance with international inspection codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO, ASTM, NACE)
- Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), inspection procedures, and method statements
- Conduct and supervise site inspections, audits, and technical evaluations
- Ensure adherence to HSE policies, risk assessments, and safety regulations
- Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions
- Support pre-commissioning and commissioning inspection activities
- Maintain accurate inspection documentation, reports, and compliance records
- Coordinate with internal departments to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in inspection and operations management within the Oil & Gas / Energy sectors
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems and inspection practices
- Proven experience in budget control, cost optimization, and operational efficiency improvement
- Good understanding of HSE standards and regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Certifications (Added Advantage)
- API / ASNT / CSWIP / NDT Level II or III
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
- NEBOSH or equivalent HSE certification
